Nushi are the major regional boss encounters in Beast of Reincarnation. The most complete public fight record currently available is Rangifer, and it is important not to copy Rangifer’s fire weakness or attack pattern onto every unnamed Nushi.
Rangifer is fought twice
The first Rangifer encounter is the crater fight in the Prowling Nushi quest. The second is the sealed-lair rematch. The first is a one-stage encounter around level 9; the rematch is around level 12, longer, and adds a second health bar.
Both encounters are weak to fire. Higanbana: Seeds is the key Koo option, while Fire Arrows give Emma a second fire tool after the relevant progression. The rematch is more resistant to Burn, so raw fire damage is more reliable than waiting for a damage-over-time effect.
The preparation that matters
- Activate the nearby campsite before committing.
- Use Extend to reach the high ground and open with an air assassination.
- Keep ranged ammunition for moments when Rangifer is out of reach.
- Parry the normal antler swing and punish the lowered head.
- Leave space when the body glows red; the four-sweep combo is not a normal parry check.

Do not invent the rest of the list
The game presents Nushi as regional bosses, but a complete public roster, exact health values, universal level recommendations and full reward table are not established in the current guide record. A new boss page should only be upgraded when its name, location, weakness and attack behaviour can be checked against a released build.
