Beast of Reincarnation Story, Normal, and Hard: Difficulty Facts and Limits
A real-data guide to Beast of Reincarnation difficulty: Steam confirms adjustable difficulty, while player coverage records the named settings.
Steam officially lists Adjustable Difficulty for Beast of Reincarnation. Post-launch player coverage checked by this site records the three menu names as Story, Normal, and Hard, with Normal described as the default. The official store page does not publish an enemy-stat table or exact multiplier for each setting, so this guide explains what can be stated safely and what still needs a versioned in-game test.
Which setting should you choose?
- Story is the sensible starting point if you want to prioritize the story, exploration, or learning Emma and Koo’s commands.
- Normal is the default reference point used by most general guides and player comparisons.
- Hard is the option to test after you understand parry, guard, dodge, Bloom Arts, and elemental weakness interactions.
Those recommendations describe the purpose of the settings, not a claim about exact damage or health values. If you switch modes, record the setting in your notes before comparing a farm route or boss attempt.
Difficulty does not replace combat fundamentals
The parry, guard, and dodge guide explains the input boundary, while the elements and stagger guide explains how to read the released enemy UI. A lower setting may give you more room to practice, but it does not make an unverified weakness chart true.
What is still not published
Steam does not currently state whether every achievement, story event, or upgrade behaves identically on all three settings. Do not promise an achievement-safe mode, a fixed experience bonus, or an exact Hard multiplier without checking the shipped build.
