Beast of Reincarnation Bulkheads and Control Panels: Read the Gate Route

The current Steam Community interactive map treats Bulkheads and Control Panels as separate points of interest. Its FAQ describes a Bulkhead as a sealed gate and a Control Panel as the object used to unlock it. That distinction answers a common exploration problem: if you reach the door first, switch to the Control Panel layer instead of searching the entire region with every filter enabled.

Gate-first route

1. Note the zone and nearby landmark when you meet a closed Bulkhead.
2. Open the Steam interactive map for that zone.
3. Hide collectibles, crops, camps, and enemies, then enable Bulkhead and Control Panel.
4. Visit the panel marker, activate it in-game, and return to the gate.
5. Confirm that the route opened before marking the pair complete.

The map author also says an Elite Golem often guards the area beyond a Bulkhead. That is a player-guide observation, not a rule published by Game Freak; bring a campsite or a tested combat setup before assuming every opened gate is safe.

For traversal, pair this route with Lift and Extend. A panel can be nearby but placed above, across a gap, or behind a route that is easier to read after Emma’s traversal tools are available.

What the official store does confirm

Steam officially frames the game around exploration, Emma and Koo’s abilities, skill trees, gear, and spirit stones. It does not list a complete gate or panel database. This article therefore documents the player map’s filter system and boundaries rather than inventing a universal unlock order.
