Beast of Reincarnation Deluxe DLC & Pre-Order Entitlement Fix

Fictions and Game Freak have officially marked the missing pre-order Deluxe DLC entitlement as fixed on Steam. Valve added the entitlement to the pre-order Deluxe package for purchases made directly on Steam and through key sites. The first official action for an affected player is simple: restart Steam.

This page separates three things that were easy to confuse at launch: the Standard pre-order bonus, the Deluxe content package, and the specific entitlement problem that affected people who pre-ordered Deluxe.

Exact Standard and Deluxe contents

The official April 2026 pre-order announcement and the live Deluxe DLC store listing give this breakdown:

The live Steam DLC page describes the Deluxe package with both Koo skins, the hat, sword, Amber, and seedlings. It does not say that Amber from different packages stacks, so this guide does not claim a combined total.

What the official entitlement fix says

The announcement was posted at 2026-08-05 19:45 UTC, which was 2026-08-06 in China. Fictions and Game Freak wrote that many players had reported not receiving the pre-order DLC in their library after pre-ordering the Deluxe edition.

The official resolution is specific:

• Valve added the missing entitlement to the pre-order Deluxe package.
• The change should cover players who bought that version on Steam.
• It should also cover players who bought a Deluxe pre-order key from a key site.
• If the content does not appear immediately, restart Steam.
• If the issue continues, the announcement asks affected players to report it.

This was an ownership/entitlement issue, not a claim that reinstalling the whole game repairs damaged save data.

Check the purchase before troubleshooting

First confirm which transaction you actually made:

1. Standard pre-order: the April announcement promised the Brown Shiba skin and 30,000 Amber.
2. Deluxe pre-order: this is the package named in the missing-entitlement fix.
3. Standard game plus Deluxe Upgrade: the launch announcement says a separately released Deluxe Edition upgrade gives Standard owners the additional Deluxe content.
4. Post-launch Deluxe purchase: the fix announcement specifically discusses pre-order Deluxe entitlement, so a different missing-DLC case should be reported with its own receipt details.

Do not buy the same DLC again while checking an entitlement problem. A duplicate purchase can make the account history harder to explain and is not part of the official remedy.

Official first step: restart Steam

Fully exit Steam, including the background client, and reopen it. The developer’s fix post gives this exact instruction because the client may need to refresh the account’s package ownership after Valve’s change.

After restarting:

1. Open the Beast of Reincarnation entry in the Steam Library.
2. Open the game’s DLC management view and look for the Deluxe DLC or the expected pre-order content.
3. Confirm the DLC is enabled for the current account.
4. Launch the game and check the relevant cosmetic/content menus.

Steps 1-4 are a practical verification sequence, not a second official guaranteed fix. The only action explicitly prescribed in the announcement is restarting Steam.

If the DLC is still missing

Prepare one clear report instead of testing unrelated game settings. Include:

• Steam account region.
• Whether the purchase was Steam or a third-party key site.
• Order receipt or key activation evidence with private payment details hidden.
• Whether the purchase was Standard, Deluxe, or Standard plus Deluxe Upgrade.
• Purchase and activation date.
• Confirmation that Steam was fully restarted after the official fix.
• A screenshot of the game’s DLC management list.
• A screenshot of the missing in-game cosmetic or item menu, if relevant.

Standard owners can buy the Deluxe Upgrade

The launch announcement confirms that a Deluxe Edition upgrade released alongside the game. Fictions says that a player who pre-ordered the Standard edition can use the upgrade to receive the additional content available in Deluxe.

The live Steam DLC page lists the Deluxe DLC separately from the base game. Check the current regional price on Steam rather than relying on a price copied into an article, because currency and taxes vary.
