Beast of Reincarnation Wayside Shrines: Place of Return Checklist

The first shrine in Beast of Reincarnation unlocks Steam’s Place of Return achievement. The official stats page gives that objective but does not publish a count or a location table. The current Steam Community interactive map labels these points as Wayside Shrines, which gives you a practical way to filter the region you are clearing without inventing coordinates on this site.

Shrine checklist

1. Discover the first shrine during normal exploration so Place of Return registers.
2. Open the Steam interactive map and select Wayside Shrine under Points of Interest.
3. Work zone by zone. Do not mark a pin complete until Emma actually interacts with the shrine in your build.
4. If a pin is not present in your version, save a screenshot and compare the map author’s update date before assuming the shrine is missing from the game.

The Steam map uses separate filters for Camp and Wayside Shrine. That distinction matters: a campsite cleanup run is aimed at Happy Camper, while the first shrine is tied to Place of Return. The campsite guide keeps the two checklists separate.

What this page does not claim

Neither the Steam store listing nor the official achievement page publishes a complete shrine count, universal fast-travel rule, or a guaranteed reward table. This page therefore does not promise that every shrine heals, teleports, or grants a specific item. Those claims need an in-game check or a dated player source for the exact version you are playing.
