Beast of Reincarnation Official Launch Support: Version, Fixes and Feedback

This is a status page for facts that Fictions and Game Freak have published after launch. It separates an official statement from a player report, and it does not turn a request for feedback into a promise that a particular feature or performance problem will be changed. Rechecked on September 3, 2026.

The short version: the launch announcement identifies version 1.0.6 as the launch build, four PC patches have been published since — v1.0.7 through v1.0.10, the current version — the pre-order Deluxe entitlement issue has an official Steam resolution, and the team directs feedback and technical reports to its pinned Steam discussion threads.

What the launch announcement confirms

The official Beast of Reincarnation is Available Now announcement identifies 1.0.6 as the release version. That tells us which build launched; it does not establish that 1.0.6 is the version installed on every PC today. Steam may have delivered another update by the time you read this.

To identify the build on your own installation, let Steam finish updating first, then check the game version shown by the game or its current Steam update state. When you write a technical report, include that observed version rather than assuming the launch number still applies.

The same announcement says feedback and technical issues should go to the pinned threads in the official Steam discussions. Use the official route before copying a report into unrelated community posts, because a useful report needs enough context for the team to reproduce it.

The published patches, and which platform they name

Four official patch posts exist. Every one of them is titled PC Patch Notes, and this is the detail that matters most on a support page: no post states a PlayStation 5 or Xbox rollout date.

Two console-specific lines do appear inside those PC posts — v1.0.9 adjusted PS5 controller vibration intensity, and v1.0.10 says console builds gained frame time from reduced background work. Neither is a rollout schedule. If you are on a console and a fix listed here is not present, the correct conclusion is that the notes do not cover your platform, not that the fix failed.

So: confirm your own installed version before reporting anything, and read the patch notes index for the full version-by-version record. Do not assume a community report is unaddressed without checking all four.

The Deluxe pre-order entitlement issue is marked fixed

On 2026-08-06 China time, Fictions and Game Freak published a specific resolution for Deluxe pre-orders whose DLC entitlement did not appear in Steam. Their announcement says Valve added the entitlement to the pre-order Deluxe package, including applicable purchases through Steam and key sites. The first instruction is to restart Steam.

That is an official resolution for one narrowly defined ownership issue. It is not evidence that every missing item, cosmetic, save problem, performance issue, or post-launch purchase has the same cause. A useful report has a reproducible shape

The developer’s launch post supplies the destination for feedback; the following structure is our editorial recommendation for making a report actionable:

  1. State whether the problem is a crash, display issue, input issue, missing entitlement, progression block, or gameplay concern.
  2. Give the game version you actually see, plus platform and region where relevant.
  3. For a PC issue, include CPU, GPU, RAM, operating system, driver version, output resolution, display mode, and controller or keyboard setup.
  4. List the smallest repeatable route: location, action, result, and whether restarting or reloading changes it.
  5. Attach a screenshot, short video, error message, or save-related information only after removing private account or payment details.

What has not been officially promised here

Each patch post carries a change list and a list of planned work, and the team has a good record of delivering that list — v1.0.8’s roadmap arrived in full in v1.0.9. But a roadmap is not a schedule: no post gives a date for the next update, and six items are still listed as planned as of v1.0.10, including auto-pickup for enemy drops and the remaining skippable cutscenes. Nothing establishes a universal fix for every community report.

Do not treat a popular discussion thread as a patch note. Compare future claims with the live Steam news page before changing settings or buying DLC.
